Question Best Farming Build for Pre-Searing Ascalon

Hi folks,

I want to make a farmer specifically for pre-searing. I figure it's a quick way to load up on scales and hopefully dyes too. Normally I'd just make a W/Mo and go to town but I figured I'd see if you guys had any other opinions first.

Whadaya think?

mo/ele or ele/monk
Use firestorm + symbol of wrath
Pre-searing monsters do not run from aoe
Just gather up a bunch of monsters and nuke em while they melee attack you
Just spam shielding hands and orison or something pick of anything left with banish or bane signet

Do you really need anything special at all? Won't a mesmer with a wand suffice?

Wa/mo with cyclone axe, retribution and symbol of wrath should work well. Ranger with pet, ranged attacks are quicker than running from monster to monster, go /el for firestorm if desired.

i would assume that based on how weak many creatures are a ele mes would suffice with what ever u decided to use. i would recommend having conjure phantasm though

I would say stick with an elementalist or a mesmer. For charr farming across the wall mesmer works best by using conjure phantasm behind the wall so your safe from damage.

i tried this before, the dyes seem to be elusive, but you get plenty of items worth 3 gold lol

xaero has the spirit actually i didnt choose it because of divine favor i chose it because monk primary are the only ones that can get healing breeze in pre searing ele/monks can only get orison as their only heal skill
